The Pakistan Model Educational Institutions Foundation (PMEIF) was established vide Trust Deed duly registered with Sub Registrar, Lahore on 25.04.1991 by the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) as an autonomous body with the approval of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. E.T Property bearing No.S-14-R-15 known as Majithia Hostel was endowed to PMEIF alongwith one time grant of Rs.50 million. Eleven members were nominated as Board of Trustees, later on re-designated as Board of Governors.
